Technical Direction for Crazy for You, Woodlands at College Park HS, Conroe, TX (2006). Nominated for Best Scenic Design by TUTS, Houston.

Scenic Designer/Technical Director Harlingen Community Theatre, Harlingen, TX (2008 season).

Taught TV and Video Journalism for three years (2003, 2004 & 2005), becoming familiar with: Adobe Final Cut Pro and Casablanca Video Editor

Vectorworks Spotlight & Sketch-up (two CADD software programs used in the theatre industry). Four-hour graduate course at Southern Oregon University, Ashland, Oregon (Summer, 2014).

Set up Vectorworks (CAD software) on a web server for student access. Developed a curriculum at Wylie HS, Wylie, TX to teach advanced technical theatre students how to use Vectorworks.

Co-Founder of Facebooks group page called Technical Theatre Educators, now over 10,000 members. (2020)

Allen High School, Allen, TX. Nominated for Student’s Teacher of the Year (2021)

Wrote two grants through the Allen Foundation for two large mobile toolboxes (2022) and then for a Sawstop Table Saw (2023).  Both were awarded to our theatre department.

Founder of the Allen ISD Technical Theatre Camp, now in its third year (2023).  For AISD students 6th through 12th grades (lighting, sound, rigging, stagecraft, tool safety, stage management and costuming).

Attended ETC ION XE Seminar at TechLand in Houston, intensive three-days (Summer, 2022)

Designed and built a unit set for Grease, Wylie East HS (Summer, 2023)

Attended Chris Garcia’s Maestro Directing Seminar, San Marcos, TX (Summer, 2023). This workshop has gained considerable popularity among Texas Theatre Directors as it’s focus is on a paradigm for play analysis and design.

Created storage systems in the Scene Shop at Allen HS for scaffolding equipment, dimension lumber, pegboard system in tool room, shelving systems for plywood pieces, roller cover dry rack (2021-2025). All items help to make the scene shop more efficient and safe for teaching technical theatre.
