This historical drama is a play about the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire in New Your City. It required that we were able to create an illusion that the set was on fire on the sixth floor of a building where people jumped to their deaths from the windows to escape the fire. We were able to produce the smoldering effect by using smoked filled PVC, and LED lighting strips that shimmered as a result of using a MIDI controller for DMX. We also used two projectors, one on the cyc for various scenes and the other onto the front six foot tall wall, located up center.
